Empowering Unique Design

About

At Double Jack Design Workshop, we are more than architects. We are craftsmen, makers, and builders. We believe in getting our hands dirty. We believe in the beauty of form and the ease of function. Design is hands-on. It’s a passion—one we want to share with our clients.

Architecture tells a story. We want our client’s spaces to reflect who they are as individuals or companies. We want their space to resonate with their clients, guests or customers as they approach the building or walk through the door. To understand their stories, we take the time to get to know our clients. We walk their sites. We discuss their vision, and translate their narrative into a creative design solution.

At Double Jack, we want our clients to understand how important their project is to us. We put the same passion and dedication into every project from design to keys-in-hand. We don’t take any project for granted and understand that what may be small to one client may be large to another—but they’re all a big deal to us.

David Booth

David’s passion for architecture began with his first Lego set. He has over ten years of professional experience including a variety of commercial project types, and has recently focused on large-scale education work. David believes the power of architecture is finding simple solutions to complex problems without sacrificing design quality. He understands the importance of listening first and believes the design process should be a fun, interactive experience for all involved.

Jacob Zikmund

Jacob has a passion for seeing the potential in every project and is commonly mistaken for Prince Harry. He believes that design should have a positive community impact as well as be environmentally conscience and site specific. To Jacob, design is an iterative process that starts with understanding clients’ goals, vision, and project location. He also is a strong proponent of client education. Clients who are new to the process benefit from Jacob’s focus on open communication and ensuring the client is involved and understands each step along the way.
