The NOMINN Cabin is tucked away in Northern Minnesota creating an immersive experience with nature. Featuring glass on three sides facing the remote lake, you are enveloped by the environment, yet protected from the elements while you unwind and disconnect.

The single-story cabin features a full kitchen, king-size bed, gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings up to 20-feet high, and a spa-inspired bathroom. The bathroom features a custom shower and a large soaking tub below a skylight to further the tranquil connection to the outdoors.
The design intent is grounded in the idea of “the ultimate retreat to nature.” The cabin is intended to melt away with the architecture responding to and blending into the site while being mindful of its footprint and environmental impact. The Nordic aesthetic with two simple materials of wood and galvanized steel complements its surroundings, rather than competing with them.
This hideaway is meant for its visitors to exist simply and unobtrusively with nature.
