“Give us something that excites us. Otherwise, we won’t build.”

We knew we needed to design a dwelling that was one of one. We started from the outside in, from old to new. We took the existing angles and boldly amplified them, resulting in an original structure that is much more engaging and inviting.

The transformation didn’t stop at the exterior. We meticulously updated the interior and exterior finishes, enhancing the home's allure while improving its insulation, blending aesthetics with sustainability.

As for the addition, healthy living was key for these owners, so we tailored an exclusive workout space to fit the lifestyle of the homeowners, aligning physical activity with serene living spaces. In homage to the timeless adage, “a sound mind in a sound body,” we fashioned a tranquil reading nook, replete with abundant book storage for intellectual pursuits. The master bedroom was enriched with expanded closet space. Practical additions like a cold storage and storm shelter were included. Lastly, the entryway was opened up, setting a welcoming tone that beckons guests into the warmth of this residential sanctuary.

What began as a typical ranch-style home has been transformed into a modern masterpiece and a testament to what becomes possible when innovative design meets freedom and inspiration.
